About the department

The Department of Natural and Mathematical Sciences and the methods of their teaching is an integral part of the structure of the institution of higher professional education and conducts educational, scientific and methodological activities among students and teachers. The teachers of the department at the Faculty of Education and Culture teach and educate students in subjects related to the department. At the department, 7 teachers are engaged in research, teaching and educational activities. Department history

The Department of Natural and Mathematical Sciences and Methods of Their Teaching has existed since 1968 under the name of the Department of Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education. The first teachers of the department were Saidakhmad Isoev, Saat Chalishev, Karamatullo Kalandarov, Kugan Izatulloev, Yorali Sodikov, Odina Davlatov, Muradali Nabiev, Ismailov Isroil, Saidakhmadov Dzhumakhan, Najot Safar, Safarali Tagoev, Goibnazar Khalimov, Nazrullo Ibodov and others.

The first head of the department was M. R. Yarashevsky. Then the department was headed by teachers Bogyrov, Isoev S. Ismailov I. Izatulloev K. Nabiev M. Juraev B. Farkhudinov Yu. Bozorov H. Sheraliev S. were responsible. Over time, the Department of Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education received the name of the Department of Primary Education, and it was headed by Associate Professor Sheralieva S.M. were responsible. By the decision of the Academic Council of the University No. 1\3-2 dated August 31, 2022 and the order of the Rector of the University Professor Rahmon Dilshod Safarbek dated September 8, 2022 No. 180, the department of primary education was divided into two departments: the department of natural and mathematical sciences and methods of their teaching and department of humanities and methods of their teaching.

The department has a theoretical and scientific-methodical seminar (head - associate professor Izatulloev K., secretary - senior teacher Gulmatov M.) and a circle "Natural mathematics" (head of the department - Mavlonov Sulaimon, secretary - a fourth-year student majoring in primary education Sulaimonova Mairambi ); The "Science of Creativity of Knowledge" works (supervisor - senior lecturer T. Davlatov). Circles are held once a month. Members of these circles present their informative presentations at conferences and university events.
