GENERAL INFORMATION

The Faculty of Physical Education and Military Training in the 2009-2010 academic years existed under the Faculty of Primary Education and Military Training. It was named the Faculty of Physical Education and Military Training on 05.05.2015. Currently, the faculty produces personnel in full-time and distance learning departments in the specialties of physical education, physical education and military training on a budgetary and contractual basis.

Physical Education;

In the specialty "physical education" at the faculty, students study both full-time and part-time (distance) departments. Graduates of this specialty can work as physical education teachers in secondary schools. At present, students study in this specialty in full-time and part-time (distance) departments.

Physical Education and Military Training;

At the faculty, the specialty "Physical Education and Military Training" was substantiated in 2015. To this day, graduates of this specialty work in various areas of the country. Graduates of this specialty can work in the Internal Affairs Bodies, as well as a teacher of military training in secondary schools. Practical classes and independent professional development in these specialties are held in secondary schools. Also, educational practice in physical education and military training is held at the D.Yu.S.Sh.

The specialties of the faculty are useful to society, and graduates of these specialties work in all in-demand areas of the country. It should be noted that in the full-time department, students study on a credit system, in the correspondence department on a credit and distance system. There are two departments at the faculty.

Department of Physical Education and Methods of Its Teaching

The Department of Physical Education and Methods of Its Teaching is an integral part of the higher educational institution. At the department, students and teachers are engaged in educational work and conduct scientific and methodological seminars. The teachers of the department at the faculty teach and conduct lectures on the history of physical education, theory and methodology of the chosen specialty, improving physical ability, swimming, Collection of training sessions, physical construction and management in physical education, as well as lectures and practical classes in physical education. This department is headed by the senior teacher of the department Nurmatov Sharofuddin. The department employs degreed and best teachers, as well as athletes.

The department has eight clubs (sections). The head of the “Volleyball Team” club is Khudoydodi Sharif, the head of the “Volleyball Team” club is Radabali Azimov, the head of the “Basketball Team” club is A. Karakullov, the head of the “Gushtini Milli (National Wrestling)” club is Sharofuddin Nurmatov, the head of the “Judo Wrestling” club is Davlahmad Izzatulloi, the head of the “Sambo Wrestling” club is Hisomuddin Nurmatov, the head of the “Freestyle Wrestling” club is Abdullaziz Rakhmatulloev, the head of the “Track and Field” club is Khairullo Shoimardonov, the head of the “Track and Field” club is Parvin Saidov, and the head of the “Little Football” club is Juma Zardov.

Department of Civil Defense and Military Training

The Department of Civil Defense and Military Training is an integral part of the university, it conducts educational, scientific and methodological work among students and teachers. The head of the department is senior lecturer Azimov Rajabali.

HISTORY OF THE FACULTY

The Faculty of Primary Education and Physical Education was named in 2009-2010, then it operated as the Department of Physical Education, graduating specialists in the specialty of physical education (physical education teacher).

The Faculty of Physical Education and Military Training is one of the notable achievements of the independence period in the history of Kulyab State University named after Abuabdulloh Rudaki, and on May 5, 2015, on the eve of the 70th anniversary of this educational institution, it opened its doors to applicants. Before the official opening of the faculty, from the 2009-2010 academic year, the specialties of physical education and military training operated at the Faculty of Primary Education, which functioned at this faculty until the 2014-2015 academic year.

From the beginning of the academic year to the present, the faculty has been headed by the following teachers:
