FACULTIES» Physical education and training of military defense
The Faculty of Physical Education and Military Training in the 2009-2010 academic years existed under the Faculty of Primary Education and Military Training. It was named the Faculty of Physical Education and Military Training on 05.05.2015. Currently, the faculty produces personnel in full-time and distance learning departments in the specialties of physical education, physical education and military training on a budgetary and contractual basis.
Physical Education;
In the specialty "physical education" at the faculty, students study both full-time and part-time (distance) departments. Graduates of this specialty can work as physical education teachers in secondary schools. At present, students study in this specialty in full-time and part-time (distance) departments.
Physical Education and Military Training;
At the faculty, the specialty "Physical Education and Military Training" was substantiated in 2015. To this day, graduates of this specialty work in various areas of the country. Graduates of this specialty can work in the Internal Affairs Bodies, as well as a teacher of military training in secondary schools. Practical classes and independent professional development in these specialties are held in secondary schools. Also, educational practice in physical education and military training is held at the D.Yu.S.Sh.
The specialties of the faculty are useful to society, and graduates of these specialties work in all in-demand areas of the country. It should be noted that in the full-time department, students study on a credit system, in the correspondence department on a credit and distance system. There are two departments at the faculty.
Department of Physical Education and Methods of Its Teaching
The Department of Physical Education and Methods of Its Teaching is an integral part of the higher educational institution. At the department, students and teachers are engaged in educational work and conduct scientific and methodological seminars. The teachers of the department at the faculty teach and conduct lectures on the history of physical education, theory and methodology of the chosen specialty, improving physical ability, swimming, Collection of training sessions, physical construction and management in physical education, as well as lectures and practical classes in physical education. This department is headed by the senior teacher of the department Nurmatov Sharofuddin. The department employs degreed and best teachers, as well as athletes.
The department has eight clubs (sections). The head of the “Volleyball Team” club is Khudoydodi Sharif, the head of the “Volleyball Team” club is Radabali Azimov, the head of the “Basketball Team” club is A. Karakullov, the head of the “Gushtini Milli (National Wrestling)” club is Sharofuddin Nurmatov, the head of the “Judo Wrestling” club is Davlahmad Izzatulloi, the head of the “Sambo Wrestling” club is Hisomuddin Nurmatov, the head of the “Freestyle Wrestling” club is Abdullaziz Rakhmatulloev, the head of the “Track and Field” club is Khairullo Shoimardonov, the head of the “Track and Field” club is Parvin Saidov, and the head of the “Little Football” club is Juma Zardov.
Department of Civil Defense and Military Training
The Department of Civil Defense and Military Training is an integral part of the university, it conducts educational, scientific and methodological work among students and teachers. The head of the department is senior lecturer Azimov Rajabali.
The Faculty of Primary Education and Physical Education was named in 2009-2010, then it operated as the Department of Physical Education, graduating specialists in the specialty of physical education (physical education teacher).
The Faculty of Physical Education and Military Training is one of the notable achievements of the independence period in the history of Kulyab State University named after Abuabdulloh Rudaki, and on May 5, 2015, on the eve of the 70th anniversary of this educational institution, it opened its doors to applicants. Before the official opening of the faculty, from the 2009-2010 academic year, the specialties of physical education and military training operated at the Faculty of Primary Education, which functioned at this faculty until the 2014-2015 academic year.
From the beginning of the academic year to the present, the faculty has been headed by the following teachers:

On October 20-23, 2022, a 2nd year full-time student of the faculty, Sangakov Khaidar, took second place in the republican open competition in "Boxing" among young men and women.
On March 19, 2022, Murodzoda Abubakr, a 2nd year full-time student of the faculty, won first place in the republican open competition in "Boxing" among young men and women.
On October 1, 2022, a first-year full-time student of the faculty, Safarzoda Sukhrob, took first place in the republican competition in "Boxing", which was held among adults (boys and women) to receive the winner's award of the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
On November 19-20, 2022, Naimzoda Naimzhon, a first-year full-time student of the faculty, took second place in the republican competition in "Freestyle Wrestling", which was held among adults over 18 years old weighing 74 kg.
09.27.2022 Muradzoda Abubakr, a 3rd year full-time student of the faculty, took second place in the international boxing competition, in the 60 kg weight class, to receive the Cup of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Sughd region.
On October 1, 2022, a first-year full-time student of the faculty, Bakhriddin Ziyoviddin, won first place in the republican boxing competitions, which were held among adults (boys and women) to receive the award of the winner of the 2012 London Olympic Games, Mavzuna Chorieva.
On October 10-11, 2022, a first-year full-time student of the faculty named after Sultanov Firuza took second place in the republican competition "Taekwondo WTF" among adults.
On October 1, 2022, a 4th-year full-time student of the faculty, Sagizov Alijon, took first place in the republican boxing competitions, which were held among adults (boys and women) to receive the prize of the winner of the 2012 Olympic Games in London, Mavzuna Chorieva.
On March 24, 2018, a 2nd year full-time student of the faculty, Khairandesh Muradzoda, took part in the republican competitions in "Sambo Wrestling", which were held among young people born in 1998-2001 in honor of the first champion of the Soviet Union in sambo wrestling, Azalsho Olimov, took second place in the 68 kg weight category.
On February 12, 2015, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Kulyab State University named after Abu Abdu'l-Dulloh Rudaki, the team of the Faculty of Physical Education and Military Training took third place in the chess competition of teachers.
On March 17, 2018, a 3rd year full-time student of the faculty, Zulkhidzhai Zhurabek, was awarded a badge of distinction for participating in the “New Year’s Run” dedicated to the celebration of the international holiday Novruz-2018.
On March 11, 2018, a 2nd year full-time student of the faculty, Khairandesh Muradzoda, took part in the regional competition in Judo, which was held among young people born in 1998-2001, and won first place.
On November 3, 2017, a 2nd year full-time student of the faculty, Numatov Shamsher, took part in the KSU championship in "National Wrestling", which was held among students of the Kulyab State University named after Abuabdulloh Rudaki dedicated to the "President's Day" to receive the "Rector's Prize of the Kulyab State University" and took first place in the 60 kg category.
On November 3, 2017, a 2nd year full-time student of the faculty, Khairandesh Muradzoda, won the KSU championship in "National Wrestling", which was held between students of the Kulyab State University named after Abuabdulloh Rudaki on "President's Day" and took first place in the 65 kg category.
On March 3, 2018, a Spartakiad of students of Kulyab State University named after Abuabdulloh Rudaki was held, in which a team of athletes took first place and a TV prize.
