Center of registration, testing and distance education

The centre of registration, testing and statistics is considered one of the structural units of the university and operates as part of the Department of Education.  The registration, testing and statistics centre was established at Kulob State University named after Abu Abdullah Rudaki in the 2007-2008 at the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics for the first time.

 The legal basis of the activity of the centre  is  organized the Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Education”, “State Educational Standard of Higher Professional  Education of the Republic of Tajikistan”, “Concept of the Development of Professional  Education in the Republic of Tajikistan”, “Model Regulation of Educational Institutions of Higher Professional  Education”, “National Concept of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan” and other normative legal acts of educational institutions of higher professional education, orders and letters of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, “Charter of Kulob State University named after Abu Abdullahi Rudaki”, decisions of  University Board, orders and instructions of the rector, vice rector on education and regulations of the registration and information centre of the credit system of education.

THE ACTIVITY OF THE CENTRE  OF REGISTRATION, TESTING AND STATISTICS HAS BEEN PROVIDED TO SOLVE THE FOLLOWING ISSUES:

• organization of database resources (fund) of a set of test questionnaires for the admission of students, implementation of monitoring of the quality of education through the admission of exams (distance and final(summary);
• improvement of the set of test questionnaires (test tasks) and taking exams with modern methods (using the possibilities of information technology);
• monitoring and modern methods of education, conformity of assessment to the content of the set of test questionnaires with the working programs of the subject (syllabus);
• conducting seminars and trainings for teachers in order to overcome problems in the preparation of test questionnaires (test assignments) and analysis of exam results;
• organization of training and consulting for teachers in order to properly develop different types of tests (open, closed and matching) using the possibilities of modern information technology;
• implementation of the test system in the institution of higher professional education;
• preparation of instructional and methodical materials for conducting exams using modern information technology;
• the application of taking exams with the test method in the educational process in order to control intermediate achievements of students' knowledge level (distance  and final) and external control (final control);
• creating a database of test programs;
• providing unified access to any data resources according to competence;
• providing methodical assistance to teachers in developing the assessment system for the actual level of students' knowledge;
• conducting a scientific analysis of the results of distance and final examinations of students;
• preparation of issues for discussion at the meetings of the university Board
• ensuring the preparation of a group of experts and conducting internal analyzes of the quality system:
