Students dormitory

Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki has one student dormitory, consisting of 67 living rooms and 360 beds. Students living in the dormitory come from 9 faculties:

Tajik Philology and Journalism;
Russian Philology;
Foreign Philology;
Pedagogy and Culture;
Physics and Mathematics;
Chemistry and Biology;
History, Law and International Relations;
Finance and Economics;
Economics and Management.

In order to regulate order and discipline, and prevent any undesirable and inappropriate actions, a representative of the Education Department, the dormitory administrator, works in the student dormitory building, who is constantly aware of the condition of the students.

According to the Departmental Plan, various competitions will be organized and held among residents during the 2022-2023 academic year, such as: “Best Room”, “Best House”.

In accordance with the approved work plan, a Student Council has been established in the dormitory by the University Youth Organization. Scientific and theoretical clubs are held in the dormitory once a month. Round tables on the topics “Youth - Followers of the Leader of the Nation”, “Woman and Her Position in Society”, “Mobile Phone and Its Impact on Youth”, as well as a question-and-answer evening under the title “Hamadon Club” will be held, where active participants in clubs and winners of competitions will be honored by the Student Union.

In order to provide useful recreational and educational moments, as well as to organize a healthy lifestyle for students of the dormitory, a library with 12 computers has been installed on the first floor of the dormitory, where students prepare their lessons from 1800 to 2100.

The dormitory is connected to the Internet, so students can access their scientific and educational materials in a timely manner. In order to strengthen educational work, regulate order and discipline, and prevent any undesirable phenomena in the dormitory, regular inspections are carried out by employees of the Education Department and representatives of the faculty leadership from the beginning of the academic year.

On each floor of the dormitory, floor heads are elected from among active students, who check the students in and out every night before the quiet hour, monitor the cleanliness and quietness of the floors.
