Master's Degree


ACTIVITIES OF THE MASTER'S PROGRAM

The Master's degree program at the Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki was opened in 2012. The master's program accepts candidates with a bachelor's or specialist's degree. Applicants must submit a thesis based on their chosen field of study and pass an interview as part of the entrance examination.

For those whose diplomas do not align with the chosen field of study, exams are required according to the specific requirements set by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan for Master's level education. If the applicant’s admission to the Master's program coincides with the graduation from the higher educational institution, the result of the final qualification exam in the chosen specialty will be considered as the entrance exam (provided the grade is at least “good”). If the applicant is entering the Master's program after one year of graduation, they must take an exam, regardless of having an excellent diploma. The duration of study for the Master's program (according to the credit system) is 2 years.

For admission to the master's degree, applicants must submit the following documents:

  • personal application in the name of the rector with the indication of the direction of the master's degree and specialty;
  • diploma;
  • recommendation of the State attestation Commission for admission to the master's degree;
  • medical certificate (form 038/u);
  • 6 photos (size 3x4);
  • passport (copy);
  • military ID or registration certificate for military service;
  • recommendation letter (from the university or from work place);
