About the department

The Department of Accounting and Auditing is part of the structure of the Faculty of Finance and Economics and trains qualified specialists in two specialties: 1-25010803 Accounting, Analysis and Audit in Budgetary-Scientific Institutions and 1-250111 – Audit and Revision at the bachelor's level of education, depending on the needs of the labor market. Currently, 8 teachers work and function in the department, including: 1 candidate of science, acting associate professor, 3 senior teachers, 3 assistants and 1 intern. Since its establishment, the department has been headed by c.e.s., a.a.p. Kuganov N.K.

History of the department

The Department of Accounting and Auditing was established by order of the rector of the university on June 1, 2021. It is worth noting that, based on the decision of the Academic Council of the University No. 11/4-6 dated May 25, 2021, and subsequently, in accordance with the order of the rector dated June 17, 2021 under No. 58, due to changes in the structure of the university and the separation of the Department of Economic Theory into two specialized departments in accordance with paragraph 4 of Article 30 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, the following teachers were dismissed from their previous positions and appointed to the newly established departments from June 1, 2021 as follows:

3. Khidirov Farhod - senior lecturer
4. Mohirai Jurakhon - senior lecturer
5. Davlatov Gulahmad - assistant

The activities of the circle and the seminar of the department

The department has a club called “Professional Accountants”, which consists of 24 members and is headed by the assistant of the department, Mohira Jurakhon. It is held once a month with two presentations. All members actively participate and express their opinions and ideas on the topics presented.
