The newspaper "ANVORI DONISH," published by Abuabdulloh Rudaki Kulob State University, has been in circulation since September 1, 1994. The newspaper was founded on the initiative and with the support of the then rector of the university, Samariddin Karimov, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, professor, and academician of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan. It was registered with the Ministry of Press and Information of the Republic of Tajikistan (now the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan) under number 285 on March 14, 1994. The publication was re-registered with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan on March 31, 2023, under number 364/RZ-97.
The newspaper operates in accordance with the program and objectives set out in its Charter and sets goals and objectives for the advancement of science and education, reflecting the political, economic, and socio-cultural events of Abuabdulloh Rudaki Kulob State University. The publishing house publishes popular science articles aimed at strengthening friendship among the nation's youth, protecting the national interests of the Republic of Tajikistan, fulfilling the instructions and orders of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, implementing the orders and orders of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Rector of the University, and providing practical assistance in educating students in the spirit of humanistic ethics, popularizing the scientific achievements of faculty, students, and domestic and foreign scientists, strengthening the patriotic spirit of youth, and instilling a sense of national pride.
The publication focuses on reflecting the wise policies of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, fulfilling the instructions and orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, regional and city leaders, and the directions and orders of the university's leadership. In addition, each issue contains news and articles on the educational process, ways to improve the quality of education, the daily life of the university, and the pulse of scientific, cultural, and sporting events and happenings at the university and the country.
In its early years, the Anvari Donis newspaper was published weekly on two A3 pages with a circulation of 200-300 copies. The content of articles and issues improved each year, and the number of authors and readers grew. The number of pages also increased to four, and the circulation to 800 copies.
From 2008 to 2016, the newspaper's page size increased to 8-12 pages, and from September 1, 2016, to March 2022, the newspaper was published on 16 pages (twice a month) with a circulation of 6,000 copies. From April 2022 to the present, the newspaper has been published in a 16-page format (twice a month) with a circulation of 5,000 copies, ranking first in the region in terms of page count and circulation.
From 2009 to December 2016, the newspaper was published by the Mushfiqi Publishing House, and from January 1, 2017 to the present, by Mega-Print LLC, located in Dushanbe.
Throughout the publication's existence, the university's management has paid special attention to the newspaper, providing guidance and advice on improving the content of each issue, as well as practical assistance and support. In particular, Academician S.K. Karimov, Professors M.O. Ibodov, I. Gulomov, R. Akbarov, R. Saidov, Associate Professors G. Azamov, Sh. Saidzhafarov, D. Sharifov, G. Mirzoyev, D. Rasulov, S. Abdulvokhidov, M. Nabiyev, G. Ibrokhimov, S. Gafforov, N. Valiyev, A. Aliyev, T. Mustafokulov, and Abdullo Khabibullo have consistently devoted serious attention to making the newspaper interesting. Furthermore, at this new stage, the university's rector, Doctor of Law, Professor Rahmon Dilshod Safarbek, places particular emphasis on content, including interesting and easy-to-read information, as well as ensuring the newspaper's high-quality and up-to-date publication, and continually provides helpful recommendations and advice in this regard. At the same time, throughout its publication, the editorial staff has worked tirelessly to make the newspaper attractive and popular.
Along with its work, the Anvori Donish newspaper also contributes to the training of journalists. Students from the Faculty of Journalism and the Faculty of Tajik Philology and Journalism at the university conduct internships and practical training at the Anvori Donish newspaper's editorial office. The newspaper collaborates with the publications Jumhuriyat, Sadoy Marduz, Omuzgor, Kulyabskaya Pravda, Navidi Kulyab, Kulyab Television, the Kulyab office of the Safina TV channel, and the newspaper Ba Kullakhoy Donish of the Tajik National University.
Since the newspaper was founded, eight university lecturers have served as its editors and editor-in-chief: Alamkhon Kucharov, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan (1994-1996); Nuriddini Nasimi, Candidate of Philological Sciences (1996-1998); Aliev Ahmad, Candidate of Philological Sciences (1998-2002); Islomov Aslon, journalist (2002-2006); Khudoidodova Sharofat, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor (2006-2009); Safarov Bakhtiyor, Head of the Department of Tajik Literature and Journalism, member of the editorial board of the Tajik Journal (2009-2016); Jahongir Rustamsho, Associate Professor of the Department of History of Language and Linguistics, member of the editorial board of the Tajik Journal (2016-2023). From October 25, 2023 to the present, the newspaper's editor-in-chief has been Muhammadjon Abduvohid, a senior lecturer in the Tajik Language Department at the university and a member of the Tajik Association of Journalists.
Over the course of its existence, the newspaper, given its systematic and extensive work, has achieved significant success and awards, receiving diplomas, certificates of honor, and letters of gratitude in competitions and for its publishing activities. Specifically, on March 4, 2023, in the city of Bokhtar, on the occasion of Tajik Press Day, the newspaper "Anvori Donish" received the Prize of the Chairman of the Khatlon Region, a first-degree diploma, in the "Power of Speech" competition for the best journalistic material in the "Best Magazine and Industry Publication" category. Also in 2023, during the Tajik Press Day celebration at the National Library of Tajikistan, the Anvori Donish newspaper was awarded the Asadullo Sadulloev Prize in the country for "Successful Local Publication in 2022." Furthermore, the founders of the Anvori Donish newspaper were awarded the Sipisnoma Award of the Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan in Kulyab for their active participation in covering the country's most important political, economic, and socio-cultural events on the occasion of Tajik Press Day in Kulyab. At the same time, on March 11, 2024, at a gala event in Bokhtar to celebrate Tajikistan's Press Day, the Anvori Donish newspaper, the official publication of Kulyab State University named after Abuabdulloh Rudaki, won the Khatlon Region Chairman's Prize and a second-degree diploma in the "Best Magazine and Specialized Publication" category of the "Power of Speech" competition for best journalistic material. Also in 2025, at the "Republican Competition for the Best Newspaper and Magazine," held at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan to develop the country's publishing industry, support print media workers, and motivate journalists, the Anvori Donish newspaper took first place and received a first-degree diploma in the "Regional Publishing House" category.
Currently, the staff of the Anvori Donis newspaper includes the editor-in-chief (Muhammadzhoni Abduvohid), the executive secretary (Toshmatov Umarjon), the page designer (Ibrohimi Yusuf), the typewriter (Nadzhotova Safarbi), the web specialist (Munisay Makhmarabi) and the accountant (Odinaev Talabsho), as well as the support service worker (Khodjaev Azizullo).
Kucharov Alamkhon (born 04.02.1946, in the village of Sarchashma, Shurobod district, Khatlon province, from an intelligentsia family) is a critic, Tajik literary scholar, Doctor of Philology (1997), professor (2003), member of the Tajik People's Party (1997). Honored Worker of Tajikistan (2008), Honored Worker of Education of Tajikistan (1995), laureate of the Sadriddin Aini literary prize (2003). He graduated from the Faculty of Tajik Philology of the Tajik State University named after V.I. Lenin (now the Tajik State University, 1969). He studied at his native high school, was a student (1964-1969), teacher, senior teacher, associate professor of the Department of Tajik Literature of the Tajik State University of Literature (1969-1997), associate professor (1997-2002), professor (2002-2010), head of the Department of Theory and Modern Persian-Tajik Literature (2002-2010), since 2012 - the head of the Research Institute of the Tajik State University of Literature. He defended his candidate dissertation on the topic "Textual problems of the story "Odina" by S. Aini" (1978, Dushanbe) and his doctoral dissertation "The position of the text in Tajik literary criticism and textual problems of Aini's prose" (1997, Dushanbe). Textual problems cover all his scientific activities and works. He was the first to conduct a detailed study of the textual criticism of modern Tajik literature and published a separate monograph. He was the first to comprehensively examine the textual analysis of the works of Master Aini and to examine his publishing activities in detail. He is the author of over 410 works. Under his supervision, four candidates defended their doctoral dissertations. He was awarded the honorary title "Honored Worker of Tajikistan" (2008, Dushanbe), the Order of "Friendship of Peoples" (2001, Dushanbe), and the badge of honor "For outstanding services to education in Tajikistan" (1995, Dushanbe).
NASIMOV Nuriddin Isoevich (born 09.10.1958, village of Bobosafoli Poyoni, Farkhori district, Khatlon region, from an intellectual family), linguist, candidate of philological sciences (1996), Honored Teacher of Education of Tajikistan (2000). Graduated from the Faculty of Tajik Language and Literature of the Kulob State Pedagogical Institute (now the Abuabdullohi Rudaki State Pedagogical Institute, 1981). Studied at his hometown secondary school (1966-1976), student (1976-1981), teacher at secondary schools No. 17, Vose' district (1981-1983), No. 24, Farkhor (1983-1989), teacher, senior lecturer of the Tajik language department of the Institute of Modern Languages (1989-1997), editor-in-chief of "Anvori donish" (university publishing house, 1996-1998), leading specialist of the science and publishing department, deputy head of the Department of Higher and Secondary Vocational Schools of the Ministry of the Republic of Tajikistan (1997-2004). Since 2004, chief specialist of the Department of Science and Education of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. He defended his candidate's thesis on the topic "Verb word formation in the prose language of Sadriddin Aini" (1996. Dushanbe). The main direction of Nasimov's scientific research is verb word formation in the Tajik language. He studied the method of lexical and semantic word formation of verbs on the example of the language of Sadriddin Aini's prose works. Nasimov is the author of the book "Education of the Republic of Tajikistan (2002), the author of 5 works and more than 30 scientific articles.
ALIEV Akhmad Kurbonovich (born 20.05.1944, Boggai village, Muminobodi district, Khatlon province, from a peasant family), linguist, candidate of philological sciences (1997), associate professor (2011), Honored Worker of Education of Tajikistan (2002), member of the Tajik Youth Union (2008). Participant of the first All-Union meeting of named scholarship holders in Moscow (1968). Graduated from the Faculty of Tajik Language and Literature of the Kulob State Pedagogical Institute (now the Abuabdullohi Rudaki State Pedagogical Institute, 1970). Studied at 7-year and secondary schools No. 7 and No. 3 of Muminobod district (1950-1960), student of the Kulob pedagogical institute (now the Abuabdullohi Rudaki pedagogical college, 1960-1962) and the IDPK (1963-1970), military service in the Armed Forces of the Soviet Union (1963-1966), teacher, senior lecturer, associate professor of the Tajik language department of the Abuabdullohi Rudaki pedagogical college (1970-2004), head of the philology department of the Abuabdullohi Rudaki pedagogical college (1999-2004), head of the Tajik language department of the Abuabdullohi Rudaki pedagogical college (2004-2012), postgraduate student of the Institute of Language and Literature of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan (1984-1985), simultaneously editor-in-chief of "Anvori donish" (University Publishing House, 1998-2002). Since 2012, Associate Professor of the Tajik Language Department of the Tajik State University. He defended his PhD thesis on the topic "The Forms and Means of Communication of Words in Vasifi's "Bado'-ul-Vaqo'" (1997, Dushanbe). He has authored and edited more than 120 scientific works and articles. His scientific research is devoted to the analysis and study of the forms and means of communication of words and sentences in the Tajik literary language and prose of the 16th century. He was awarded the Jubilee Medal "20 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" (1965), Certificates of Honor of the All-Union Komsomol Central Committee (1968) and the Central Komsomol Committee of the Republic of Tajikistan (1967), and the badge "Excellence in Education of Tajikistan" (2002).
ISLOMOV Aslon (born 21.01.1947, Panjurti village, Khovaling district, Khatlon region, from a peasant family - died 2009, Kulob city), journalist, member of the People's Party of Tajikistan (1979), Honored Teacher of Education of Tajikistan. Graduate of the Tajik State University named after V.I. Lenin (now the State Technical University, 1975). Studied at his native secondary school (1954-1964), student of the Kulob pedagogical college (1964-1966) and the UDT (1970-1975). Editor of the newspaper "Communist" of the Jirgatol district, head of the department of the regional newspaper "Rohi Lenini", editor of the newspaper "Sadoi korgar" (1975-2002). From 2002 until his death (2009), he was the editor of the newspaper "Anvori Donis" (published by the Abu'abdullohi Rudaki Publishing House). He published analytical and critical articles on some of the customs and traditions of the people of the region and other topical issues of the day in the pages of the periodical.
KHUDOIDODOVA Sharofat Zardovna (born 26.04.1967, Kulob, Khatlon region, from an intelligentsia family), linguist, journalist, candidate of philological sciences (2010), Honored Minister of Education of Tajikistan (2012), Honored Minister of Press of the Republic of Tajikistan (2014), Honored Minister of Television and Radio of Tajikistan (2013), Honored Minister of Culture of Tajikistan (2014), member of the Tajik Youth Union (2007). Graduated from the faculties of Russian language and literature, Tajik language and literature of the Kulob State Pedagogical Institute (now the Abuabdulloh Rudaki State Pedagogical Institute, 1989, 1995). Studied at secondary school No. 9 of Kulob (1974-1984), student (1984-1989), teacher, senior lecturer of the Russian language department of the pedagogical faculty (1989-1994), head of the MTZAR department of the Russian philology faculty (2004-2008), editor of the newspaper "Anvori donish" (2006-2009), dean of the foreign philology faculty (2008-2009), head of the university-wide Russian language department (2010-2013), head of the journalism department of the Abuabdullohi Rudaki State University (2013-2014). His research in the field of advertising research in Tajikistan is the first scientific work, and against the background of its implementation, various aspects of the use of advertising as a modern genre of Tajik journalism were evaluated. He is the current editor of the representative office of the state institution "Safina Television" in Kulob and a teacher of the subjects "Fundamentals of Advertising and Publicity", "Translation Theory" and "Translation of Publicistic Texts" at the Department of Journalism, and is directly involved in the development and publication of advertisements in Russian and Tajik, editing articles and essays in periodicals, and supervising the scientific and research work of young researchers. He is the author of 3 methodological manuals and more than 16 scientific articles. SAFAROV Bakhtiyor Qurbonovich (born 12.08.1971, Laghman village, Kulob district, Khatlon province, from a working family), teacher, journalist, member of the Tajik Youth Union (2011). Graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of the Tajik National University (1998). Studied at school No. 10, Kulob district (1978-1988), military service in the Armed Forces of the Soviet Union (1989-1991), student (1993-1998), correspondent for the newspaper "Javononi Tajik" (1998-1999), teacher at secondary school No. 24, Kulob district (1999-2003), teacher of the Tajik language department (2003-2012), head of the department (2012-2013), senior lecturer at the journalism department of the Abuabdullohi Rudaki State University of Journalism. RUSTAMSHOH Jahongir Rustamsho was born on 18.05.1988 in the village of Choylobkamar, Mir Sayid Ali Hamadoni district, into an intelligent family. Linguist, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor. Graduated from the Department of Tajik Language and Literature, Faculty of Tajik Philology and Journalism, Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki (2011). Studied at MTMU No. 49 and No. 5 of the district (1995-2006), student (2006-2011), assistant professor of the Department of Methods of Teaching Tajik Language and Literature (2011-2014), specialist of the Department of Science and Innovation of the Abuabdullohi Rudaki State University of Education (2014-2015), head of the Department of Methods of Teaching Tajik Language and Literature (2015-2016). From September 2016 to October 2023, he was the editor-in-chief of the university publication - the newspaper "Anvori donish". On May 22, 2018, he defended his doctoral thesis on the topic "Anthroponyms of "A Thousand and One Nights" (linguistic aspect). He is the author of one educational manual, 18 scientific articles, and more than 200 publicist articles. Married, has 3 children.

MUHAMMADJONI Abduvohid (born 27.03.1992, Surkhdara village, Vosei district, Khatlon province, from a peasant family). Graduated from the Faculty of Tajik Philology and Journalism of the A. Rudaki State University of Culture and Arts, 2015). Studied at 4-year school No. 49 of the Vosei district (1999-2003) and secondary school No. 3 of the Vosei district (2003-2010), student (2010-2015), head of the Youth Affairs Department of the A. Rudaki State University of Culture and Arts.
