DISCUSSION OF SCIENTIFIC DISSERTATIONS AT KULOB STATE UNIVERSITY

On September 4, 2026, Abuaabdulloh Rudaki Kulob State University, acting as the leading institution, held a discussion of the scientific work of Safobakhsh Sanakulovich Kholov, a doctoral candidate of the Department of Political Science at the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni, entitled “The Presidency as a Fundamental Element of State Power: Its Formation and Development in the Political System of Modern Tajikistan.” The research was conducted under the academic supervision of Doctor of Political Sciences Karimov Shamsiddin Tursunmatovich.

The university also discussed the scientific work of Rakhmatullo Ramazonovich Karimov, a doctoral candidate of the Department of Political Science and Public Relations at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, entitled “Water Diplomacy and Its Place in the Foreign Policy of Tajikistan.” The research was conducted under the academic supervision of Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Quvvatzoda Saidullo Zuvaid.

The discussion was held during a meeting of the Department of Political Science of the Faculty of History, Law and International Relations of the university.

The discussion of the dissertations was attended by representatives of the universitys Department of Science and Innovation, as well as members of the faculty and the Department of Political Science. The participants shared their views and recommendations regarding the content and key aspects of the scientific works.

In particular, Gulchehra Murodova, Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Political Science; Ramazon Fayzov, Candidate of Political Sciences and Associate Professor of the department; and Nekruz Fayzov, Associate Professor, delivered speeches in which they analyzed and evaluated the theoretical and practical aspects of the dissertations and provided relevant comments and recommendations.
