ACTIVE PARTICIPATION OF UNIVERSITY FACULTY MEMBERS IN AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AND GLOBAL RECOGNITION OF THE UNIVERSITY

On June 20–21, 2026, an international conference entitled “Remaining Student-Centered in the Age of AI” was held at the initiative of the Virtual ERC Community in cooperation with English Language Fellows. The conference addressed issues related to the use of artificial intelligence in the educational process, the implementation of modern teaching methods, and the professional development of educators.

Representing Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki, Associate Professor Sharifzoda Khurshed, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages; Murodzoda Bahriddin, Head of the International Relations Department; and Candidate of Philological Sciences Saidova Nilufar, Deputy Dean for Science, Innovation, and International Relations of the same faculty, actively participated in the conference and were awarded international certificates.

Furthermore, in recognition of its continuous support and significant contribution to the professional development of English language teachers in the Republic of Tajikistan, the American Councils for International Education presented the administration of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki with a Certificate of Appreciation.

According to the text of the certificate, sent on behalf of the Regional Director of the American Councils, Matthew Mulherin, the active participation of the universitys faculty members in the Virtual English Language Resource Center (V-ERC) programmes, webinars, and educational events has significantly contributed to enhancing professional skills, improving language proficiency, and promoting a culture of lifelong learning.

This recognition reflects the growing international reputation of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki and serves as evidence of the university leaderships effective policy aimed at expanding international cooperation and enhancing the professional competence of its academic staff.
