NATIONAL UNITY – A SYMBOL OF THE NATIONS STABILITY AND SUSTAINABILITY

A scientific and theoretical conference of the academic staff of the Faculty of Tajik Philology and Journalism of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki was held to commemorate the 29th anniversary of National Unity Day under the title “National Unity – A Symbol of the Nations Stability and Sustainability”.

Opening the event, Associate Professor Zulfiyev Gadomad, Dean of the Faculty, noted that National Unity, as a great historical achievement of the Tajik people, has created a favourable foundation for strengthening statehood, ensuring sustainable social development, and maintaining peaceful living conditions for the population.

Subsequently, Nasimjoni Saidzam, Deputy Dean for Educational Affairs, emphasized that preserving and strengthening the values of National Unity, educating young people in the spirit of patriotism and national self-awareness, and respecting state symbols and national sacred values are among the most important responsibilities of every citizen.

Thereafter, Associate Professor Alisheri Abdulmajid of the Department of Journalism delivered a presentation entitled “National Unity – The Guarantee of the Nations Survival and a Bright Future for Tajikistan”, while Senior Lecturer Nozimova Saodat of the Department of Tajik Literature presented a report on “The Role of the Leader of the Nation in Strengthening National Unity”.

During the presentations, it was emphasized that it was precisely due to the wise and peace-oriented policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, that peace, stability, and genuine unity were established in the country, creating a solid foundation for the development of all spheres of public life
