 TRAINING SEMINAR HELD ON KEY ISSUES OF SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES AT KSU

At Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki, a training seminar was held for the academic staff and employees of the university in order to implement the instructions and directives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity-Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of science and education, as well as in accordance with the directives of the university administration.

The main objective of the seminar was to enhance the professional competence of teachers, improve research activities, ensure the high-quality preparation of textbooks, and develop educational documentation in line with modern requirements.

Opening the seminar, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, Associate Professor Kamolzoda Shodmon, noted that conducting such training seminars under contemporary conditions is of great importance for improving the quality of education, advancing scientific activities, and strengthening the intellectual potential of university teachers. It was emphasized that only through continuous improvement of knowledge and mastering new educational requirements can the strategic goals of the state in training competitive specialists be achieved.

Thereafter, Associate Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics, Samariddinova Zaynab, delivered a presentation on “The Procedure for Preparing and Submitting Commissioned Research Topics of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan”; Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Tajik Literature, Shamshodi Jamshed, spoke on “The Procedure for Preparing Textbooks in Accordance with Modern Requirements”; and Associate Professor and Deputy Head of the Academic Affairs Office, Yaqubzoda Firuz, presented on “The Procedure for Preparing the Teaching Workload of Academic Staff for the 2026–2027 Academic Year”. The speakers provided participants with detailed information on the current regulations, standards, and requirements in these areas.

At the conclusion of the seminar, participants exchanged views, and specific answers were provided to the questions raised by the teaching staff. It was emphasized that holding such seminars plays a significant role in enhancing responsibility, improving professional performance, and raising the quality of educational and research activities at the university.
