DISCUSSION OF APPLICANTS DISSERTATION RESEARCH WORKS

Today, May 30, 2026, an expanded meeting of the Department of Tajik Literature was held at Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki, during which the dissertation research works of applicants were discussed.

At the meeting, the dissertation works of two applicants were reviewed: Olambi Nosirova — on the topic “The Life and Scholarly Research Activities of Khudoi Sharifzoda,” under the supervision of a Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Iranian Philology at the Tajik National University Safarov Umar; and Saodat Barotovna Nozimova — on the topic “Historical Truth and Artistic Truth in the Novel ‘Cyrus the Great’ by Barot Abdurahmon,” under the supervision of Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, Kucharzoda Alamkhon.

Representatives of the university’s Department of Science and Innovation, professors, associate professors, and faculty members took part in the discussion, expressing their views on the content and scholarly significance of the presented research works.

During the discussion, reviewers and other participants analyzed the strengths and certain shortcomings of the dissertations, offering specific proposals and recommendations aimed at improving and enhancing their academic quality.

As a result, taking into account the recommendations presented, the dissertation works were recognized as completed and recommended for the next stage of review.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the university administration wished the applicants and their academic supervisors continued success in their scholarly and research activities and further scientific achievements.
