DISCUSSION OF A SCIENTIFIC DISSERTATION

At the extended meeting of the Department of Linguistics and Comparative Typology of the Faculty of Foreign Philology of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki, the scientific dissertation of the department’s doctoral candidate Sharifkhoja Saodat Amirkhoja on the topic “The Proverbial Genre in Linguistics: Structure and Content Aspects (Based on Structurally Different Languages)” was discussed.

The dissertation, under the scientific supervision of Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Rahmon Nargis Sharif, was prepared for the degree of Doctor of Philological Sciences in the specialty 6.2 – Philology, 6.2.14 – Typological and Comparative Linguistics.

During the discussion, participants and independent reviewers examined the key aspects of the dissertation and presented valuable recommendations and suggestions for its further improvement. Taking into account the comments and recommendations, the dissertation was considered completed and recommended for consideration at the next stage.
