SCIENTIFIC AND THEORETICAL CONFERENCE HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY

On May 20, 2026, Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki hosted a scientific and theoretical conference entitled “Youth in the Light of the Leader of the Nation’s Youth-Oriented Policy”, dedicated to May 23 — Youth Day of Tajikistan, with the participation of the university’s lecturers and students.

At the opening of the event, the Head of the Department for Educational Affairs, Associate Professor Sharipov Anvar, noted that during the years of independence, under the youth-oriented policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, favourable opportunities have been created for the comprehensive development of young people, enhancement of their educational level and worldview, and their active participation in the socio-political life of society. It was emphasized that youth, as a constructive force and the future of the country, must make a worthy contribution to national development through patriotism, pursuit of knowledge, and civic responsibility.

The conference continued with presentations by Associate Professor Yaqubzoda Firuz of the Department of Political Science on “Youth as a Constructive and Driving Force of Social Development”, Associate Professor Jumaeva Dilorom of the Department of Modern Russian Language on “The Role of Youth in Society”, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Head of the Department of Software Engineering and Web Design, Shohsanami Rizo, on “Women and the Digital World”, and Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Head of the Department of Philosophy, Hasanov Mahmadsaid, on “The Moral Responsibility of Youth in the Context of Globalization.”

The speakers emphasized that in the modern world, young people, as the most active and progressive segment of society, play a crucial role in the development of science and technology, the economy, culture, and the strengthening of national values. It was also stressed that the effective use of digital technologies, enhancement of political and legal awareness, and preservation of moral responsibility are among the key factors in shaping conscious, competitive, and socially responsible youth.
