MASTER CLASS LECTURES BY PROFESSOR DAVLATBEK KHOJAEV AT KULOB STATE UNIVERSITY

As part of the mutually beneficial scientific and methodological cooperation among the country’s higher educational institutions, another scientific and educational initiative has been implemented at Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki. At the invitation of the university administration, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Language History and Typology at the Tajik National University, Davlatbek Khojaev, is delivering a series of lectures for lecturers and students of the Faculty of Tajik Philology and Journalism.

The classes are being conducted over four days (from May 19 to May 22 of the current year) and mainly involve students majoring in “Tajik Language and Literature.” The primary focus of these master classes is the in-depth study of complex and pressing issues related to Tajik language syntax.

During his lectures, which combine theoretical and practical approaches, Professor Davlatbek Khojaev drew the audience’s attention to modern methods of grammatical structure analysis, the historical development of syntax, and controversial issues in syntactic studies, presenting students with extensive and engaging scholarly insights.

It should be noted that these sessions were not limited to a traditional lecture format but were conducted in the form of discussions and open question-and-answer exchanges. Faculty members and students actively participated by asking specific questions, engaging in analytical discussions, and strengthening their theoretical foundations.

Such exchanges of experience and lectures delivered by distinguished scholars of the country have become a valuable tradition at Kulob State University, contributing to the enhancement of educational quality, the professional competence of students, and their familiarity with the latest achievements in Tajik philological science.
