A round table dedicated to the International Day of Families was held at the Center for Professional Development and Innovation of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki with the participation of the university’s faculty members and students.
At the beginning of the event, Vice-Rector for Education, Associate Professor Sharifzoda Odinamo, delivered a speech noting that the family is the foundation of the state and society, and that the upbringing of the younger generation begins within the family. It was emphasized that one of the pressing issues of modern society is the formation of a healthy family and society, as well as the upbringing of a constructive future generation, the proper solution of which depends on people’s way of life and the development of society itself.
Then, the Chairwoman of the University Council for Work with Women and Girls, Qayumova Mubina, stated that in the culture of the ancient Tajik people, the family has always been regarded as a sacred institution, since the best human values such as love and devotion, sincerity and loyalty, mutual understanding and tolerance are formed within the family.
Afterwards, the Head of the Department for Educational Affairs, Associate Professor Sharipov Anvar, delivered a presentation on the topic “Causes of Family Breakdown and Their Negative Impact on Society (from a Psychological Perspective).” He stressed that strengthening family culture, mutual respect, and parental responsibility in raising children are among the key factors ensuring family stability and the well-being of society.
