CONTINUATION OF CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES AT THE UNIVERSITY

The administration of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki, guided by the educational policy and wise instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, has been implementing necessary measures to create favorable conditions for education and upbringing.

In this regard, in accordance with the action plan dedicated to the declaration of 2026 as the “Year of Expanding Construction, Beautification, and Strengthening National Self-Awareness and Identity” in the President’s Address to the Supreme Assembly on December 16, 2025, and in honor of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, on May 13, 2026, the university inaugurated several classrooms and an educational laboratory named after distinguished teachers and scholars. These classrooms and laboratory were named in recognition of individuals who devoted their fruitful lives to educating and mentoring the younger generation and preparing highly qualified specialists at this center of science and knowledge.

The opening ceremony was attended by the university rector, Professor Safarzoda Munir Vatan, vice-rectors, faculty deans, teachers, and relatives of the honored educators, who familiarized themselves with the conditions created in the newly established classrooms.

The renovation and opening of these classrooms and laboratory were carried out within the framework of the university’s development initiatives, and the facilities were equipped with modern educational technologies. In particular, at the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics, classrooms named after the enlightened educator Arabova Zaynabi and Associate Professor Yunusov Shamsher were inaugurated, while at the Faculty of Physical Education and Initial Military Training, a classroom named after world champion Saidmu’min Rahimov was opened with all necessary facilities.

The establishment and inauguration of such classrooms and laboratories reflect respect for the dedication and service of teachers and represent a continuation of the educational policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, who consistently pays special attention to enhancing the status of teachers and promoting science and education in society.
