At the Department of Foreign Literature and Methods of Teaching Russian Language and Literature of the Faculty of Russian Philology of Kulob State University named after Abuabdulloh Rudaki, a regular session of the “Literary Dawn” club dedicated to honoring the memory of the participants of the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945 was held. The event was actively attended by the faculty administration, the head of the department, teaching staff, and student members of the club.
During the opening of the event, it was emphasized that honoring the memory of war heroes and fostering patriotism and national self-awareness among young people are among the important responsibilities of educational institutions.
During the meeting, fifth-year student Saidova M. delivered a report entitled “Comparison of the Main Characters in the Story ‘The Date’”, while fourth-year student Sharifzoda M. presented a report on “Traditional Genres and Motifs in the Novel ‘Tristan and Isolde’”.
In addition, other students delivered presentations related to the Great Patriotic War, recited poems, and performed patriotic songs. It was noted that such clubs play an important role in broadening students’ worldview, developing literary thinking, and strengthening patriotic values among young people
