HOLDING A POLITICAL HOUR AT THE UNIVERSITY

Within the framework of declaring 2026 as the “Year of Expansion of Improvement and Creative Works and Strengthening National Self-Awareness and Identity,” as outlined in the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, political hour sessions have been organized at Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki at the initiative of the Department of Education.

These sessions are conducted with the participation of experienced teachers, as well as faculty members and students. During the meetings, important issues related to the content of the Leader of the Nation’s Address, strengthening national self-awareness and patriotism, respect for national values, and enhancing the political and civic awareness of young people are discussed.

At the beginning of the event, Vice-Rector for Education, Associate Professor Sharifzoda Odinamo, delivered a speech highlighting the importance of such events in shaping the political worldview and self-awareness of youth. Then, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Teaching Methodology, Kholikzoda Safar, spoke on the discussed topics, sharing his views on the practical implementation of the Address and the role of youth in the development of society.

It was emphasized that national self-awareness is a solid foundation for the formation of a young person’s personality. Through a deep understanding of history and culture, respect for national values, and a sense of responsibility towards the Motherland, the younger generation can make a valuable contribution to societal development and preserve national identity in the context of globalization.
