Today, April 27, 2026, a joint meeting of the Departments of Informatics Teaching Methodology, Software Engineering, and Web Design was held at Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki, during which the scientific dissertations of applicants were discussed.
During the meeting, the dissertation works of two applicants were reviewed: Bakhtovar Sadriddinzoda Sadriddin, an applicant of the Department of Informatics Teaching Methodology, on the topic “Methodology of Teaching Mathematical and Computer Modeling Using Experimental Research in the Training Process of Future Informatics Specialists,” supervised by Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Gafforzoda Alisher Bobobek; and Sukhrob Khursandovich Afizov, an applicant of the Department of Software Engineering and Web Design, on the topic “Theoretical and Methodological Foundations of Motivating Students for Educational and Cognitive Activity through the Use of Information Technologies,” supervised by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Majidzoda Hamid.
It is worth noting that these dissertations were prepared for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences in specialty 5.3 – Pedagogy (5.3.10.3 – Theory and Technology of Teaching Informatics).
The discussion was actively attended by Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, Associate Professor Kamolzoda Shodmon, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Associate Professor Ayubzoda Safar Ayub, as well as heads of departments, professors, associate professors, candidates of sciences, and other lecturers and specialists.
As official reviewers of Bakhtovar Sadriddinzoda’s dissertation, Rahmonali Murodalizoda, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Informatics Teaching Methodology, and Umed Naimov, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and lecturer at the University of Innovation and Digital Technologies of Tajikistan, delivered their remarks. For Sukhrob Afizov’s dissertation, the reviewers were Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Negmatov Saidullojon Ergashevich of the Academy of Education, and Associate Professor Ayubzoda Safar Ayub. Professor Negmatov’s review was presented to the audience by the secretary of the meeting.
The reviewers and other participants analyzed the strengths and certain shortcomings of the presented works and offered specific proposals and recommendations for their improvement and enhancement of their scientific level.
As a result of the discussion, taking into account the recommendations made, the dissertations were considered completed and recommended for the next stage of review.
At the end of the meeting, the university administration wished the applicants and their academic supervisors success, further achievements in science, and new accomplishments in their research activities.
