SCIENTIFIC AND THEORETICAL SEMINAR HELD AT KULOB STATE UNIVERSITY

Today, April 23, 2026, a scientific and theoretical seminar-meeting was held at Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki. The event was organized to implement the instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, regarding the training of highly qualified academic personnel with scientific degrees and titles.

The seminar was attended by Professor Abdulhai Komili, as well as master’s students, PhD candidates, and research applicants in the fields of natural and exact sciences. The event opened with a welcoming speech by the Rector of the University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Munir Vatan Safarzoda.

In his speech, the Rector emphasized that the university leadership, in line with the educational policy of the Government, continuously takes concrete measures to engage staff in scientific research activities. It was noted that organizing a series of scientific meetings and consultations with experienced and distinguished scholars is one of the university’s key initiatives in this direction.

During the seminar, Professor Abdulhai Komili delivered a presentation on the history and development of scientific research, the importance of modern research for scientific progress, and the role of youth in this process. He also focused on key aspects of conducting research, including selecting appropriate research topics, using reliable academic sources, adhering to methodological standards, preparing scientific articles, and presenting research results in international journals.

It was highlighted that, in modern conditions, the use of digital technologies, scientific databases, and international cooperation plays a crucial role in improving the quality of research. The professor also encouraged participants to follow academic ethics, avoid plagiarism, and develop critical thinking skills.
