CREATIVE CLUB “LITERARY SCHOLAR” HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY

On April 22, 2026, a scientific and creative session of the “Literary Scholar” club, operating under the Department of Tajik Literature, was held at the Faculty of Tajik Philology and Journalism of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki.

The event was attended by Barno Ruzieva, a specialist from the Center for Professional Development and Innovation, the club leader and department assistant Takhmina Giyoeva, faculty members, and students. At the beginning of the session, the club leader Takhmina Giyoeva delivered an opening speech, introduced the topics to be discussed, and shared her views on the development of the club’s activities.

Then, second-year student Gulbii Kurbonali presented a report on “The Development of the Short Story Genre in Modern Tajik Literature,” and third-year student Midjgonai Safarali delivered a presentation on “The Role of Ferdowsi’s ‘Shahnameh’ in the Development of Epic Literature. The Image of Borbad in Abulqasim Ferdowsi’s ‘Shahnameh’.”

In the discussion section, participants actively engaged in a question-and-answer session, exchanging views on the topics presented.
