ROUND TABLE: INTEGRATION OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

On April 21, 2026, a round table discussion on the topic “Integration of Digital Technologies in Teaching the Russian Language” was held at the “Durakhshon” Educational and Advisory Center of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki. The event was organized by the university-wide Department of Russian Language and dedicated to the declaration of 2026 as the “Year of Expansion of Creative and Construction Activities and Strengthening of National Identity,” as well as the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. The event was attended by faculty members and students.

The event opened with remarks by the Head of the Department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Rukhshona Nazarova. In her presentation titled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence as a Means of Improving Knowledge Quality in a Bilingual Environment,” she emphasized that the use of modern digital technologies, especially artificial intelligence, provides broad opportunities in education, enhances the quality of learning, develops language skills, and helps both teachers and students adapt to the digital learning environment.

The following speakers also delivered presentations: Associate Professor Firuza Fayzulloeva on “Integration of Digital Technologies in Teaching Russian Language and Literature,” Senior Lecturer Shakhnoza Ergasheva on “Teaching Russian in the Era of Digitalization,” Assistant Bobomurod Jaborov on “Integration of Digital Technologies and Methods in Teaching Russian,” Assistant Safarmo Kurbonova on “Enhancing Digital Literacy of Russian as a Foreign Language Teachers in Blended Learning Environments,” and Assistant Dilshod Alizoda on “Development of Verbal Intelligence in Russian Language and Literature Classes.”

It was noted that the effective implementation of digital technologies in the educational process is a key factor in improving the quality of education and creates favorable conditions for developing communicative skills, creative thinking, and students’ adaptation to the demands of modern society.
