SCIENTIFIC AND THEORETICAL SEMINAR HELD

A scientific and theoretical seminar was held at the Department of Linguistics and History of Language of the Faculty of Tajik Philology and Journalism at Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki, with the participation of the teaching staff.

During the seminar, the Head of the Department, Associate Professor Abdulmajid Davlatov, delivered a presentation on “Problems of Orthography and Ways to Solve Them.” Doctoral students Halima Yunusova presented on “Orthography as a Regulator of the Written Form of the Literary Language,” and Dilnoza Karimova spoke on “Monosemantic and Polysemantic Words in the Language of Ghazals.” The speakers analyzed and discussed key issues of orthography, norms of the literary language, and semantic features of words in literary works.
