UNIVERSITY STAGE OF THE “TAJIKISTAN – MY BELOVED HOMELAND” CONTEST SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED

In order to develop creative abilities, enhance patriotic spirit, and identify new talents among young people, various cultural and literary competitions are organized across the country. One of such initiatives is the republican contest “Tajikistan – My Beloved Homeland,” held under the patronage of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.

This initiative aims to support young talents in various fields of art, including the creation of patriotic songs, composition of new musical works, and the development of high professional artistic skills.

As part of the implementation of this prestigious contest, the university stage was held on April 17, 2026, at Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki.

The jury consisted of heads of the university’s educational and cultural departments, as well as experts in the field of arts, including Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Associate Professor Odinamo Sharifzoda, Head of the Cultural Department Umedjon Bobojon, and university lecturers Amirkhamza Pulodov and Bunafsha Mirzoeva.

A total of 25 students participated in the contest, showcasing their talents in the following categories:

  • fine arts,
  • instrumental performance,
  • vocal performance (traditional and pop genres).

The contest was held in an atmosphere of high patriotism, creativity, and artistic excellence, and the best participants were selected to advance to the next stage.
