On April 15, 2026, a conference of the Student Scientific Society of the Faculty of Foreign Languages was held at the Center for Professional Development and Innovation of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki. The event was titled “Culture and Language: The Influence of National Traditions on the Vocabulary of Foreign Languages” and was attended by representatives of the Department of Science and Innovation, faculty administration, teachers, and students.
At the beginning, the Deputy Dean for Science, Innovation, and International Relations, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Nilufar Saidova, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of such events in shaping scientific thinking, developing research skills, and improving students’ knowledge and competencies.
During the conference, second-year student Oishamoh Odinazoda presented a report titled “Noun Phrases and Their Use in Tajik and English,” third-year student Muhammad Isamtov delivered a presentation on “Using AI in Teaching English,” fifth-year student Adiba Menkaraeva presented on “The German Language and Methods of Speaking,” and fourth-year student Kurbonbi Kadamova spoke on “The History of the Emergence of Chinese Hieroglyphs.” The presentations were received with great interest and sparked active discussions.
At the end of the event, a question-and-answer session was held, allowing students and teachers to exchange views and receive comprehensive answers to their questions.
