INTERNATIONAL FORUM ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE HELD

Within the framework of productive international cooperation between higher education institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation, a forum of teachers and students of Tajikistan and Russia entitled “Russian Language in Tajikistan: Language in the Digital Era” was held in the city of Kulob.

The main objective of the forum was to discuss актуальные issues of teaching and learning the Russian language in the Republic of Tajikistan, exchange experience in the use of modern digital technologies in the educational process, strengthen Tajik-Russian cooperation in the field of education, and increase the interest of students and teachers in learning the Russian language in the digital age.

The forum was organized on the initiative of Altai State Pedagogical University, Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki, and the Russian-Tajik State Budgetary General Education Institution “Secondary General Education School with advanced study of certain subjects in Kulob named after K.D. Ushinsky.”

At the beginning of the event, guests visited an exhibition of scientific and educational achievements and creative works of students, and also enjoyed a cultural program including poetry recitations, musical performances, songs, and dances, which made the forum atmosphere even more vibrant and memorable.

The plenary session of the forum was attended by representatives of government bodies and scientific and educational institutions, including Asomidinzoda Sharofiddin - Head of the General Education Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abdulzoda Ziedullo Nazar - Head of the Education Department of Khatlon Region, Pirzoda Dilovar - Chairman of Kulob city, as well as the Rector of Altai State Pedagogical University Lazarenko Irina Rudolfovna and the Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Tajikistan Patrushev Andrey Valeryevich, who emphasized the importance of developing international cooperation and promoting the Russian language in modern conditions.

Representatives of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki also actively participated in the forum, contributing to the discussion of key issues in the education sector.

In particular, Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Kamolzoda Shodmon in his speech analyzed current issues related to the study and development of the Russian language in the educational space of the Khatlon region and the university, emphasizing the need to introduce modern teaching methods and digital technologies into the educational process.

It was noted that such forums contribute to strengthening scientific and educational cooperation, exchanging best practices, and improving the quality of education, creating a solid foundation for further development of the education system.

The forum was held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and constructive cooperation, where participants exchanged views on the use of modern technologies in education, improvement of pedagogical skills, and expansion of international relations.
