FOCUS ON STRENGTHENING RESEARCH ACTIVITIES AT THE UNIVERSITY

Today, April 4, 2026, at Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki, a meeting was held between the Rector of the university, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Safarzoda Munir Vatan, and academic staff holding scientific degrees and titles. The meeting was organized within the framework of implementing the educational policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and aimed at strengthening research activities.

The main objective of the meeting was to enhance the scientific work of faculty members, encourage them to continue research activities, improve their professional level, and create conditions for obtaining academic titles such as Associate Professor and Professor, as well as the scientific degree of Doctor of Sciences.

In his opening remarks, the Rector emphasized that the development of science is one of the university’s priority areas, and improving the qualifications of academic staff, as well as training highly qualified personnel with scientific degrees and titles, is an important task. It was noted that all necessary conditions for conducting research activities have been created at the university, and faculty members should effectively use these opportunities to expand their research work.

During the meeting, issues related to continuing scientific research, preparing for doctoral dissertation defenses, obtaining academic titles, and improving the quality of research were discussed. It was stressed that Candidates of Sciences should not limit themselves to their current level but should strive to achieve the next academic stage - the Doctor of Sciences degree - and contribute to the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel.

Special attention was also paid to publishing scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, participating in scientific conferences and forums, using modern academic sources, and introducing innovations into research activities. It was emphasized that only through consistent work and in-depth research can significant results and academic recognition be achieved.

At the end of the meeting, participants shared their opinions and expressed readiness to further intensify their research activities and achieve new accomplishments.
