At Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki, a meeting was held between the Rector, Associate Professor Munir Vatan Safarzoda, and students studying under the Presidential quota.
The meeting was attended by vice-rectors, representatives of the academic and educational departments, faculty administrations, and students, who actively participated and shared their views.
The main purpose of the meeting was to improve students’ academic performance, enhance their professional skills, encourage in-depth study of specialized subjects, and strengthen academic discipline and personal responsibility in the learning process.
In his opening remarks, Rector Safarzoda Munir Vatan highlighted the continuous attention of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to young people, especially those studying under the Presidential quota. It was emphasized that the Presidential quota is a clear example of state support, creating favorable conditions for education and training highly qualified specialists.
During the discussion, it was noted that students studying under the Presidential quota should serve as role models in academic achievement, mastery of specialized subjects, participation in research activities, competitions and олимпиads, as well as effective use of educational opportunities.
The Rector encouraged students to engage in continuous learning, acquire modern knowledge, study foreign languages, use information technologies, and actively participate in scientific work.
Special attention was paid to соблюдение academic regulations, regular class attendance, thorough preparation for lessons, timely completion of assignments, and effective use of study time. Students were urged to take a responsible approach to their education.
The meeting was held in an open and constructive atmosphere, where students shared their ideas, suggestions, and concerns.
At the end of the meeting, students expressed their gratitude to the country’s leadership for providing favorable learning conditions and to the university administration for its continuous support.
