MAGNIFICENT CELEBRATION OF INTERNATIONAL NAVRUZ AT THE UNIVERSITY

On March 28, 2026, a grand cultural and entertainment event dedicated to International Navruz was held at Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki, with the participation of a wide range of guests, including city activists, veterans, teachers, and students.

The Rector of the University, Associate Professor Safarzoda Munir Vatan, along with a delegation of guests and teachers, first visited the institutions "Navruzgoh." In the courtyard of the administrative building, students from each faculty prepared festive tables, describing the Navruz holiday as a link between the current generation and national values, love, devotion, and ancestral traditions. Adherence to customs and rituals, the spreading of "Haftsin" and "Haftshin" tables, the organization of sports competitions, and the preparation of national dishes to welcome Navruz were the main pillars of this ancestral holiday across the faculties.

After viewing the festive tables and the achievements of the faculties, the formal part of the event began. The Rector of the University, Associate Professor Safarzoda Munir Vatan, during his congratulatory speech, sincerely welcomed the honored guests to the "Navruzgoh" of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullo Rudaki. On behalf of the university leadership, he congratulated the attendees and the people of our dear and beloved country-independent Tajikistan-on the occasion of the oldest and greatest national holiday, a unique achievement of ancestral culture and civilization, and the harbinger of spring and natures renewal: International Navruz. He wished everyone lasting health, constant dignity, a prosperous life, and good fortune with increasing success in their professional, scientific, and educational activities.

It was emphasized with pride that we, the civilization-creating Tajik people, celebrate this ancient ancestral holiday today in an atmosphere of peace, stability, and national unity with special magnificence. This invaluable blessing is the result of the wise policy and creative initiatives of the countrys top leadership, which has led to a greater promotion of Tajik culture and civilization in the international arena.

Thanks to the wise, culture-fostering policy and humanitarian initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, the Navruz holiday gained a new status and prestige during the period of the countrys independence. Through the consistent efforts of the Leader of the Nation, Navruz moved beyond the scope of a national holiday and became an international cultural value.

It is worth noting that the Navruz festivities at the university began with an award ceremony for the winners of university competitions such as "Most Productive Scientist," "Leading Faculty," "Leading Department," "Teacher of the Year," "Best Club of the Year," "Student of the Year," "Masters Student of the Year," "Curator of the Year," "Athlete of the Year," "Best Dormitory Room," and "Leading Administration," during which the teaching staff was honored.

In the cultural part of the event, the "Navo" ensemble of the universitys cultural department and national artists presented a bouquet of songs and melodies, which made the Navruz celebration memorable and joyful.

The staff and students of the institution, as a symbol of respect for the traditions of the ancestors of the civilization-creating Tajik nation and the implementation of Navruz principles, welcomed this holiday with a spirit of pride in the peace and stability of the Motherland by organizing festive gatherings.
