On March 16, 2026, the next meeting of the “Young Geographer-Travelers” club was held at the Center for Professional Development and Innovation of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki. The club operates under the Department of Geography and Tourism of the Faculty of Geography and Digital Economy. The event was attended by representatives of the Department of Science and Innovation, the faculty administration, lecturers of the department, and students.
At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the department, Associate Professor Sherali Gadoev, delivered an opening speech and emphasized the importance of the club in developing students’ professional skills and broadening their worldview. Afterwards, Davlatov Ahliddin, a fourth-year student majoring in Geography, presented a report entitled “The Impact of Climate Change on the Melting of Pamir Glaciers,” providing detailed information about the influence of climatic factors on glacier conditions and their importance in maintaining water resources.
