A NEW STEP IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION: AGREEMENTS OF KULOB STATE UNIVERSITY WITH HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS OF UZBEKISTAN

On March 13, 2026, at Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni, within the framework of the Third Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan titled “Higher Education and Science of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan: New Horizons of Cooperation,” a number of important cooperation documents were signed.

Within the framework of the forum, Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki signed new cooperation agreements with several higher education institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In particular, cooperation agreements for 2026-2030 were signed with the following institutions:

  1. Bukhara State Technical University
  2. Termez State University
  3. Uzbekistan State World Languages University
  4. Termez State Pedagogical Institute

It should be noted that previously Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki had already signed cooperation agreements with six higher education institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The signing of new documents further expands opportunities for bilateral cooperation and contributes to the development of scientific and academic relations between the universities of the two countries.

Within the framework of the signed agreements, cooperation is planned in important areas of scientific and educational activity, including the exchange of teachers and students, implementation of joint educational programs, organization of scientific conferences and seminars, implementation of joint research projects, publication of scientific articles, development of innovative programs, professional development of teachers, as well as cooperation in training specialists in technical, pedagogical, and foreign language fields.

This initiative represents an important step in strengthening scientific and academic cooperation between higher education institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
