TRAINING SEMINAR ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF INTELLECTUAL AND INVENTIVE SKILLS

A training seminar titled “Development of Intellectual, Inventive and Innovative Skills” was held on the initiative of the Technological Park of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki. Teachers and students took part in the event and received information about opportunities for developing inventive activities and protecting intellectual property.

First, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Eraj Abdusamadzoda, delivered a speech emphasizing that the development of creative thinking and the support of young people’s inventive initiatives are among the important priorities of the university. He also noted that such events contribute to improving intellectual awareness and involving students in scientific and innovative activities.

Afterwards, Sorbony Saidjalol, Head of the Department for State Examination of Inventions and Industrial Designs at the National Patent and Information Center under the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, presented a report titled “The Concept of Intellectual Property and Ways of Protecting It, as well as the Mechanisms for Submitting an Invention to the Patent Center”. At the same time, the Director of the university’s Technological Park Aminjon Nazarov delivered a presentation on “Ways and Mechanisms for Creating Inventions (developing intellectual skills and personal creativity),” emphasizing the importance of supporting innovative ideas.

At the end of the seminar, a discussion and question-and-answer session was held between the participants and the speakers. The participants received useful information on how to submit inventive projects and protect copyright.
