STRENGTHENING THE UNIVERSITYS INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AT THE CHINA–CENTRAL ASIA INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INDUSTRY–UNIVERSITY–RESEARCH COLLABORATION

On June 25–26, 2026, the 2026 China–Central Asia Conference on Industry–University–Research–Application Collaboration was held in Ürümqi, Peoples Republic of China. This high-level international conference brought together representatives of higher education institutions, research centers, government agencies, and industrial enterprises from China and Central Asian countries to strengthen scientific and educational cooperation and promote the application of modern technologies.

Representing Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki, Bahriddin Murodov, Head of the Department of International Relations, participated in the conference and delivered a presentation during one of its scientific sessions. In his speech, he introduced the Universitys academic and research potential, its priority areas of development, experience in international cooperation, and its contribution to preparing highly qualified and competitive specialists.

The primary objective of the Universitys participation was to expand scientific and academic cooperation with higher education institutions in the Peoples Republic of China and Central Asian countries, study advanced practices in the digital transformation of education, and strengthen collaboration in scientific research, academic exchange, and the implementation of joint educational and applied projects.

During the conference, participants discussed key issues related to strengthening cooperation between universities and industry, integrating research with production, applying digital technologies in education, promoting innovation, conducting joint research, and implementing scientific achievements in practice. In addition, productive meetings were held with representatives of universities and research institutions from China and Central Asia to explore opportunities for future collaboration in faculty and student exchanges, international projects, and joint research initiatives.

The participation of the representative of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki in this prestigious international conference marks another significant step toward expanding the Universitys international engagement and strengthening its academic partnerships worldwide.
