 SOLEMN RECEPTION OF THE WINNERS OF THE REPUBLICAN OLYMPIAD AT KSU

On May 11, 2026, a solemn ceremony dedicated to welcoming and honoring the students - members of the university’s Olympiad team who became winners of the final stage of the Republican Olympiad among higher educational institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan - was held in the courtyard of the administrative building of Kulob State University named after Abuabdulloh Rudaki.

The winners were warmly welcomed in a festive atmosphere with flowers and congratulations by the Rector of the University, Professor Safarzoda Munir Vatan, vice-rectors, heads of departments and divisions, faculty deans, professors, and students.

Afterward, a ceremonial gathering dedicated to this important and honorable achievement took place in the university’s administrative building. At the beginning of the event, the Rector of the University, Professor Safarzoda Munir Vatan, sincerely congratulated the winners and their academic supervisors, noting that the Republican Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions under the motto “He who possesses knowledge is powerful,” dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, is an important scientific event that not only determines the level of knowledge and professional skills of young people but also creates a healthy competitive environment for personal development and the expansion of students’ scientific worldview.

Continuing his speech, and referring to the educational and wise policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan under the leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, it was emphasized that organizing and conducting high-level competitions and Olympiads is one of the priority areas of state policy. This process contributes to improving the level of knowledge, developing creative thinking and intellectual abilities of students, and supporting talented youth and their innovative initiatives.

It was also stressed that timely encouragement of active students and academic mentors is one of the key factors in training highly qualified specialists and fostering scientific responsibility among the younger generation.

During the meeting, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Abdusamadzoda Eraj, described the latest achievement of the university’s teaching staff and students as a source of pride and worthy of high praise, wishing the university community further success and outstanding accomplishments.

The Olympiad winners, in turn, expressed their sincere gratitude to the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, as well as to the Ministry of Education and Science of the country for creating favorable conditions for education and organizing republican Olympiads, and also thanked the university administration and professors for their constant support.

It is worth noting that on May 8, 2026, the closing ceremony of the Republican Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions under the motto “He who possesses knowledge is powerful,” dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, was held at the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics. The Olympiad brought together 490 students from 46 higher educational institutions competing in 15 academic disciplines across two categories - humanities and natural sciences/mathematics.

It is a matter of pride and admiration that the team of students from Kulob State University named after Abuabdulloh Rudaki won 15 awards (2 first places, 6 second places, 5 third places, and 2 honorary certificates), securing second place among 46 higher educational institutions in the overall team ranking. This achievement clearly demonstrates the high level of scientific and methodological training and responsibility of the university’s teachers and students.

  3. Sayfuddinova Omina Bahromovna — a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics, majoring in Physics and Mathematics, in Physics, under the supervision of Safarali Rajabalievich Sharipov — Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences;
  4. Nekruzi Karimkhoja — a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics, majoring in Mathematics, in Mathematics, under the supervision of Firdavsi Kholmuhammad — Senior Lecturer of the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Function Theory;
  5. Ashurov Akbarsho Nurulloevich — a 1st-year student of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics, majoring in Informatics, in Informatics, under the supervision of Shohsanami Rizo — Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences;
  6. Davlatov Ahliddin Aslamovich — a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Geography and Digital Economy, majoring in Geography, in Geography, under the supervision of Sherali Davlat Davlatzoda — Candidate of Geographical Sciences, Associate Professor.
