Within the framework of the “open doors” policy and in line with the wise and forward-looking policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, aimed at expanding international cooperation, a productive meeting was held between Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki and East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsen Amanzholov, during which a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed.
During the meeting, the Rector of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Munir Vatan Safarzoda, highlighted the achievements of the period of State Independence and the development of friendly relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan, especially in the fields of science and education, noting that they are the result of the balanced policies of the top leadership of both countries.
It was emphasized that, based on the signed memorandum, cooperation will be developed in priority areas, including the exchange of teachers and students, implementation of joint educational programs, organization of scientific conferences and seminars, execution of research projects, publication of scientific articles, development of innovative programs, and professional development of teachers.
It was also noted that the signing of this memorandum took place within the framework of the “University International Development Strategy for 2026–2030” and creates favorable conditions for strengthening academic cooperation and integration into the global higher education space.
