At Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki, various educational clubs operate, creating favorable conditions for improving students’ professional knowledge and developing their practical skills. For this purpose, on March 12, 2026, a new club entitled “Flower Bouquet Artisans” was established at the University’s “Center for the Study of Folk Crafts”, and its first meeting was held. The club was launched under the leadership of Associate Professor Mirzoeva Bunafsha from the Department of Humanities and Teaching Methodology.
First, the head of the club delivered a speech about the goals and significance of the club’s activities, emphasizing that such clubs contribute to the revival and development of folk crafts and also encourage young people to learn various professions and traditional crafts. Then she expressed her views on the topic “Observing safety rules while performing handicraft work”. In addition, the craftswoman of the center, Qulatova Surayyo, delivered a presentation on the topic “The origins of the art of sewing and its development in modern times”, providing information about the history and significance of this ancient craft.
At the end of the meeting, an exchange of opinions took place among the participants, during which the students’ interest in learning traditional crafts was highlighted.
